This was one of the best places I've stayed in South East Asia. The location is perfect, away from other resorts and very quiet with beautiful nature sounds. There are plenty of places to relax and enjoy the view, and the cool breeze is so refreshing. The food and coffee are great, and they even have scooters for rent. The Thai couple and their worker who run the place are incredibly kind and make you feel at home. With limited accommodations, there's never too many people. Plus, the resident dog and cat, Long and Suey, are wonderful.

During our romantic escape, we were delighted by the breathtaking location of the hotel, nestled in nature with stunning ocean views. The secluded atmosphere allowed us to enjoy our privacy and soak in the peacefulness of the surroundings. the friendly hosts ensured that we had everything we needed and even offered useful tips for exploring the area. We also relished in the delectable Thai cuisine served at the on-site bar and restaurant, adding an extra touch to our special getaway.

To consider during our stay. The pricing of the food at the hotel was slightly on the higher side, which was a little disappointing.

We loved the family vibe at Rock View Terrace. Tong and Lan were amazing hosts, giving us tips and even lending us their motorbike. Celebrating New Year's Eve with them was a blast! the bungalows were clean, comfortable, and had a great view of the mangrove/jungle and ocean. the resort might be new, but it's full of potential and we appreciated the smaller, family-run feel.

Pros of our stay at this amazing venue were the tranquil and beautiful location, the genuinely charming and incredibly helpful host, and the mouthwatering menu with delicious dishes like the 'shrimp in flour'. The one minute walk to the sandy beach and the stunning terraces sitting over the water provided the perfect relaxation spot, especially at night under the starry sky with the sound of water lapping beneath us. The free use of snorkeling gear, kayaks, and scooter hire added to the enjoyable experience. The 5 star customer service with genuine smiles and the love for the environment, people, and animals made this place truly special. We extended our stay as we found paradise here, and Koh Jum is like Thailand 30 years ago, offering a basic but delicious local food experience and the magical and deserted Magic Beach. This was the most tranquil place we have ever stayed and the best Thai island we have visited.

First, let's talk about the incredible beachfront accommodation. Picture this: waking up to the soothing sound of waves crashing on the shore, opening your window to be greeted by a breathtaking view that could rival a postcard. It's like having your very own private paradise right at your doorstep.

Lack of bike/motorbike rental.

From the moment we arrived in Krabi, Mr Tong, the owner, had organized a seamless transfer and we were warmly welcomed at the fishing village. The journey to the island by long tail boat was a thrilling adventure for the kids. The wooden bungalows nestled in the tropical forest provided a unique and breathtaking experience. The sea views from our veranda were absolutely stunning. Our children loved the occasional visit from the monkeys, and the Sea View Terrace became our favorite spot for delicious homemade food and refreshing drinks. Mr and Mrs Tong were attentive hosts, open to feedback, and had a vision to create a shrimp farm for their guests. We will definitely be returning to this idyllic oasis.

For dads, it would be great to have a dedicated play area for children.

had an amazing stay in koh jum with rock view terrace exceeding our expectations. the friendly and helpful family owners made us feel right at home. the bungalow was clean and comfortable, and the homemade food was delicious. the tranquil location and free use of snorkeling gear and kayaks made it an unforgettable experience. highly recommended!

Breakfast service could be improved.

We stayed in a basic hut nestled in the jungle, just steps away from a secluded beach. While the accommodations were modest, they were adequate for our needs. The lack of hot water or air conditioning was not an issue for us. We enjoyed the tranquillity of the surroundings, with only the sound of the waves and the chirping of birds to break the silence. Snorkeling may not be possible, but the deserted beach was perfect for swimming. The owners were friendly and helpful, always ensuring our stay was pleasant. The option to rent kayaks and snorkeling gear added to our enjoyment. While there were some moments of solitude, we found it to be a welcomed retreat from the busier tourist areas. I would recommend this place for those seeking a peaceful and secluded getaway.
